Viewing Student Career & Purpose Exploration Activity

The Purpose Compass is only available to Overgrad Pro customers with AI Features enabled. Please connect with an Overgrad rep if you are interested in learning more. 

Educators with access to student data are able to view individual students’ career & purpose exploration activity by finding the student using the search bar or navigate to them from any student list

Careers Tab: Click this tab to view any career exploration related activity. On the main page, you will see:

• Followed Careers: careers the students have followed

• AI Career Exploration Notes: At the bottom of this tab, click the drop down for AI-generated insights based on the student’s career exploration activity.

Use the “View Career Activity” drop down menu to see additional exploration details:

• View Career Discovery Sessions: Shows the student’s latest and historical Career Discovery sessions, along with their responses to each prompt and recommended careers. 

• View Career Stories and 3D Simulations: Shows any Career Stories and 3D simulations the student has played to learn more about each career. Each of these activities are “choose your own adventure” experiences for students to “try on” careers and see the job tasks in action.

• View Career Chats: View any conversations a student has had with Trek.

Compass & Reflection Tab: Click this tab to view any purpose exploration related activity:

• Compass: Shows the student’s current Purpose Compass. Click “View History” to see previous versions.

• Reflection: Shows any conversations the student has had with Trek to reflect on any exploration activities and careers.
