Career Discovery Completion Tracking & Insights

Career Discovery is only available to Overgrad Pro customers with AI Features enabled. Please connect with an Overgrad rep if you are interested in learning more. 

Educators with access to student data are able to view and use any of the Default Student Lists in Overgrad to view Career Discovery completion data and insights. From your Navigation Menu: Click on the Students drop down and select View Student List. Then, find the Exploration section in the blue navigation pane on the left.

Dashboard: This page allows you to see Career Discovery completion data by student groups. You can use the filtering icons, such as graduation years or counselor, to narrow the data to a specific group. You can view the data by:

• Charts: Visualize the data using pie charts as well as gives you the option to use those pie charts to quickly filter the data you are viewing on your student list.

• Data Summary: View that data by different subgroups (Graduation Year, Assigned Counselor, Ethnicity, etc)

• AI Insights: Generates AI-powered insights based on your students’ data to highlight patterns and trends. Click “Generate Insights” and optionally provide additional instruction for how to analyze the data or specific patterns to look for, then click “Generate” to see insights.

Student List: This page shows you your student list, along with data on Career Discovery/Survey completion, and other related data. You can use the filtering icons, such as graduation years or counselor, to narrow the data to a specific group. 

• Completed Career Survey metric resets on 7/1 of each year, ensuring that you have up to date data for each school year.

• Click on a student’s name to see detailed information on their individual Purpose & Career Exploration journey
