Sign-in Methods for All Users
Three ways to log in. Use any method — all lead to the same account. Go to overgrad.com → Sign In.
Option 1 — Sign in with Google
Use your NYCPS email account (@schools.nyc.gov or nycstudents.net). Recommended — no password needed.
Option 2 — Email address & password
Enter your school email and password. Haven't set a password yet? Click Forgot
password on the login page to create one via email link.
Option 3 — Teach Hub single sign-on
Go to Teach Hub → find Overgrad in your app list → click to launch → sign in with NYC. No separate login required.
Student Sign-Up
⚠️ Do not try to create your own account. Self-registration is blocked for students and will not work.
HOW YOUR ACCOUNT IS CREATED
- A staff member sets up your account Counselors, teachers, or admin create student accounts on your behalf if it does not already exist.
- You receive an email invitation. Check your school inbox. Click the link to activate your account.
- Log in using any method above. Google sign-in is easiest if you use a Chromebook and your nycstudents.net email address.
No invitation yet? Contact your school counselor or staff member to request account creation.
Educator Sign-Up
Option A — Self Sign-Up
- Go to overgrad.com → Sign In → Sign Up. Use your NYCPS email address.
- Your school’s account manager is notified. Your request is sent for approval automatically.
- Once approved, you can log in. You’ll receive a confirmation email when access is granted.
Option B — Created by Account Manager
Any account manager at your school can create an account for you directly. Ask your school’s Overgrad admin — you’ll receive an invitation email with immediate access. Be sure to request necessary permissions.
Once active, educators can manage student accounts and create new student accounts from within Overgrad.
