This article is for students who want to follow colleges on Overgrad. It covers what following a college means, how to do it, and how to view the colleges you've followed.

What Does it Mean to Follow a College?

Following a college saves it to a list on Overgrad so you can track it, explore it, and stay organized as you research your options. It's not the same as adding a college to your application list — following just means you're interested in or keeping an eye on a school, not that you've applied or committed to applying.

To record that you're actually applying to a college, you'll need to add it to your application list separately. See this article for instructions.

Following Colleges

To browse and search for colleges, open the Search dropdown in the navigation bar and select Colleges. For tips on how to search colleges that are a good fit for you, see this article.

Click the Follow button directly next to the college's name on the search results page, or the Follow this college button on any college profile page to add that school to your list.

Viewing your Followed Colleges

To see all the colleges you're following, open the My Future dropdown in the navigation bar and select My Colleges. From this page you can:

• View quick information about each school, like acceptance rate, cost, and location
• Add Notes to any college on your list if there's any information about it you'd like to remember as you do your search
• Drag and drop colleges to reorder your list however you'd like
• Unfollow a college you're no longer interested in to remove it from your list
