How do I find the nXu Curriculum on Overgrad?

If your school is implementing the nXu curriculum this school year, follow the steps below to access the full curriculum library in Overgrad.

Access the Curriculum

1. Log in to your Overgrad account. 

2. Click nXu on the top navigation bar:

3. On the left-hand side, click Library. This is where you'll find the complete nXu curriculum. 

Within the Library, you can: 

• Switch between the Secondary Curriculum (designed for middle and high school students) and the Elementary Curriculum (designed for kindergarten through 5th grade). 

• Filter lessons by Theme, Skill, and/or Grade Level using the dropdown menus. 

• Use the search bar to quickly find lessons on a specific topic or skill. 

Understanding the Curriculum

A few things to know as you explore the library:

• Lessons are organized into modules. Each module includes a sequence of lessons centered on a foundational topic or theme.

• Each lesson is 20-25 minutes long and includes everything you need to facilitate it – including a facilitator guide, presentation slides, student materials, and, when applicable, additional supporting resources.

• Lesson indicators provide helpful planning information. You'll see whether a lesson:

  • Is Project-Based, meaning it is designed as part of a larger project-based learning experience rather than as a standalone lesson.

  • Requires student devices, indicating that students will need access to a computer or other device during the lesson.

  • Includes Pre-requisites, indicating that students should complete one or more lessons before this one. If no pre-requisites are listed, the lesson can be taught without any prior nXu lessons.
