TABLE OF CONTENTS

What is the Big Five Personality Assessment?

The Big Five is a widely used personality framework that measures five core traits: openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism. Taking it in Overgrad is an opportunity for self-reflection — your results include descriptions of each trait, what it means to score low or high, and potential career paths associated with your profile. It's a self-discovery tool, so your results don't affect anything else in your Overgrad account.

Completing the Assessment

From your top navigation bar, click on the My Planner dropdown and select Personality Assessment.

The assessment consists of 120 statements that you respond to at your own pace. Progress cannot be saved, so plan to complete it in one sitting.

When you finish, your results are organized by each of the five traits, showing how you compare to median scores of others who have taken the assessment. For each trait you'll see a general description, detailed breakdowns of low, average, and high scorers, and suggested career matches.

You can return to your results or retake the assessment at any time by going back to My Planner → Personality Assessment.
