Overgrad supports syncing student data from your Student Information System (SIS) — such as PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, or others — using CSV files. There are two ways to do this: a manual upload for one-time or occasional imports, and an automated sync for schools that want data to stay continuously up to date. For schools that want student data to sync automatically on a recurring schedule (nightly, hourly, etc.), Overgrad supports automated file-based syncs. This requires a one-time setup with your IT team and Overgrad's support team.

How It Works

  1. Overgrad provisions a secure S3 bucket for your school
  2. Your IT team configures your SIS to export a CSV to that S3 bucket on a schedule
  3. Overgrad automatically picks up new files and processes them using your saved field mapping

Steps to Get Started

  1. Contact Overgrad support to request an automated sync setup
  2. Work with your IT team to configure a scheduled CSV export from your SIS
  3. Complete a one-time field mapping in Overgrad (same as the manual upload process above)
  4. Once set up, syncs will run automatically — no manual action needed
