A number of emails are generated when requesting, processing, and sending electronic documents through Overgrad. Below are examples of the various emails that are sent. 


Student Emails

Recommendation Sent

Subject: Mississippi State University was sent your recommendation from Brent Smith



Transcript Sent

Subject: Your official transcript was sent to College of Saint Elizabeth


Transcript request canceled

Subject: Transcript request canceled for New Jersey City University

College has received documents

Subject: College of Saint Elizabeth has received your documents


Educator/Counselor Emails

Email notification settings can be configured in account settings. If an educator would like to receive emails about transcript requests, they have the option to receive them immediately, to receive a daily summary, or to receive a weekly summary. Examples of each type are shown below.

Immediate email notification about new transcript requests

Subject: Makenzie Abbott has requested a transcript be sent to University of Chicago



Daily Transcript Request Summary

Weekly Transcript Request Summary (sent at the start of every week)

This email is sent to educators who already have an Overgrad account.
